Lyric Orchestra Musicians Perform on Rush Hour Concerts

The International Music Foundation is a Chicago non-profit organization dedicated to expanding access to high-quality classical music. They have been engaging Chicagoans with interactive programs all over the city, from the Chicago Cultural Center to St. James Cathedral. IMF has turned to virtual concerts over the last few months in an effort to continue fulfilling its mission during the pandemic.


Many Lyric Orchestra musicians have appeared on the International Music Foundation's Rush Hour concerts including:

Robert Hanford, concertmaster

Lewis Kirk, assistant principal bassoon

Melissa Kirk, viola

Susan Warner, acting co-principal clarinet

Neil Kimel, horn

Calum Cook, principal cello
