Fritz’s summer music plans take him to St. Paul, MN and Santa Cruz, CA. On June 5-6, he played Dvorak’s Legends with the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Christian Zacharias.
This August will mark his 10th season playing with the Cabrillo Festival of Contemporary Music in Santa Cruz with Marin Alsop. Cabrillo is dedicated solely to performing new music and provides accessible, in-depth offerings of preeminent and emerging composers. This season, Cabrillo will be performing the new and contemporary works of 16 composers, 12 of whom will be in residence. There are also workshops given by Marin Alsop for conductors and composers.
