Education: Welsh College of Music and Drama Cardiff,  Guildhall School of Music and Drama London, and Musikhochschule(n) Freiburg and Vienna.

• With which other musical groups have you performed?

I have a chamber group with my wife Margaret Daly and often collaborate with our

singer daughter Maureen.  Our older daughter is a social worker with an MSW from Loyola University.  I am a violinist with the Grant Park Symphony and am the only 'hybrid' of this nature.

• What is your most memorable Lyric performance or experience?

My favorite opera production was Meistersinger with Christian Thielemann

• Currently I’m reading:

Thomas Pynchon's Inherent Vice.

• Outside of the pit:

For relaxation I like making salsa and making stuff out of wood. I have binge watched Breaking Bad and will probably do the same with Better call Saul.  I speak Welsh and German.
