  • What work coming up in future seasons are you are most looking forward to performing?

I'm looking forward to next season’s Marriage of Figaro. As a member of the 2nd violin section of the Lyric  Orchestra, the operas of Mozart offer some of the most interesting and musically challenging parts.

  • With which other orchestra have you performed?

I was a member of the Milwaukee Symphony for four years before joining the Lyric Opera Orchestra.  I played there from 1975-1978.

  • Outside of the pit:

I like to spend time with my family: my husband, Joe, a double bass player with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, our daughter, Giovanna, a medical assistant with North Shore University Health System, and our daughter, Gina, a violinist with the CSO and her husband, Ian, a percussionist whom she met while both were members of the Detroit Symphony. Other members of our family include our Sheltie, Lily and our cat, Bella.

  • My favorite travel destination:

Last year, my husband and I went on an Alaskan cruise; our first cruise, and truly spectacular. We would like to plan another cruise, either to somewhere in the Caribbean or Hawaii.
